Check out the Q&A below, and stay up to date on all of our upcoming events on our website!

Q: What is your role at Provar?

A: In the most straightforward terms, my role is to project manage the events Provar produces or signs on to as a sponsor. To take it a step further, in the ISV world, I’d say event managers play a vital role in orchestrating events that showcase software products, foster community engagement, and drive business growth (AKA attempting to be the conductor of a very busy and noisy orchestra!). The typical responsibilities extend beyond traditional event management tasks to encompass strategic planning, marketing collaboration, end-to-end execution, and relationship building within the tech industry.

Q: What are Provar’s biggest events of the year?

A: Provar’s biggest events of the year are the core Salesforce flagship events like Dreamforce, TDX, and World Tours in prominent or ever-growing tech hub cities like London, Sydney, and New York City.

Q: Why is it so important to us to have a global presence and, as a result, to attend the events that we do?

A: I’d say it’s not only important to have a global presence but also that it’s essential for ISVs/SIs in the ecosystem to be able to expand their market reach, build valuable relationships, increase brand visibility, stay updated on industry trends, gather feedback, and identify partnership opportunities. Yes, we’re there on-site to demo our solutions and walk people through how great our products are, but all the things I listed above play a crucial role in driving growth and success in today’s competitive marketplace.

Q: What is your favorite part about the events you’ve attended and/or about seeing the feedback from events you’ve managed?

A: The best part is always the people! We meet new connections, put faces to names, and even watch our own team come together as #oneteam to crush goals on event days. Even better, it’s just the true “hang out” of it all. It brings together such diverse humans with the most unique, talented, and intelligent minds I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting.

Q: Do you have any future goals for our events?

A: The goal is always to keep learning and growing! My future goals are all about continuing to celebrate our current success in the events space, breaking into new markets and multi-channel event spaces, and someday being recognizable as a top sponsor among all of the dominant testing, Salesforce, and tech industry events alike. Oh, and to throw an event of our own! The testing community is out there – build it, and they will come!

Q: Anything else you want to share?

A: I am so passionate about what I do and the amazing events we’re a part of, and I hope that people can see and understand the value ofon-sitee and in-person events. Most of our business is a direct result of industry event attendance and sponsorships, as there truly is such value in conducting in-person business, making friends worldwide, and getting Facetime with the industry professionals that eventually become part of our tight-knit community. It may sound like a small stepping stone on the journey to reaching people where they need us most, but it is impactful.
